crypto is not a means of exchange. It isn't worth anything. Its value is only artificially increased by people who buy it with the sole goal of selling it when its value peaks again. Also, it isn't better or worse than the money we currently have. Sure, we could just switch to bitcoin. It's just that a loaf of bread would cost something like .001 of a bitcoin. So you'd just have a completely virtual currency to buy things. Problem with that is that there's a huge void in the economy where physical currency is necessary to complete private transactions

They forced the governemt to pay out gold for silver because it is less rare and has more of silver and easy to get so may the government bankrupt.
