@MadConq what makes chess fun ?

use to have a very nice Teutonic 25mm army built n painted it myself...

@JDB honestly it can be draining at times but that is after like 5 games. I find chess fun because it is like having an intellectual war with the opponent

exactly - i feel like origami is awesome as well but chess has that mental war aspect

i want something that i'll look forward to after work

chess has great depth within it too

I always got compliments on my paint jobs but folks usually didn't look close enuff at the builds for my taste😬

@ToastMcGhost it's maths competitions throughout the year that you can 'train' for

@JDB I was running out of games to play, multiplayer only games get tedious and the people who I live with make me uncomfortable

@MadConq I am experiencing that now. I have 3 weeks left until I move into my first place for the first time. I am excited. I have been living with 2 dudes and 2 girls and they already found a friend to replace me when I leave so I am so out!

I want to move out but I don't have much money to sustain myself. I'm working on my degree to that I can work full time accounting. Honestly I'm just waiting for my grandparents to kick the bucket then I take over the house
