Well the creator behind it had to cut the series in half because it wasnt doing well. Same issue he had with Xenogears

My issue with xenosaga was that the mechanics established in game 1 were completely different by game 3

pacing was terrible in those games, imo

Yeah pacing needed work, but I loved the story and how was connected

The other issue I had was how Xenosaga was related to Xenogears because of what they did with the Zohar
