Life is entirely about suffering. And the nature of that suffering is based fully upon the existence or lack thereof of the objective metaphysical.

Those who would claim that we can know the objective metaphysical conclude that we must suffer in virtue for those who have created us. Those who claim we can not claim that at best that is true, and at worst, we are born to die, and one day your consciousness will cease.

Either way, everything you do in vain doesn’t matter, it’s just an argument about what is and isn’t in vain

People forget that they will die one day. Your children will outlive you. You will stop breathing, your heart will stop beating, and your brain will stop communicating. This reality, your perception is your universe. As soon as you die, if there’s nothing after death, the universe ends within all limitations of your perception.

If there is no metaphysical, there is no memory for the dead, no feeling, no thought, no awareness, nothing. I don’t think people understand how terrifying that is.

Using the oneness of your own life and existence to promote vain action is nothing but a chase, with you running from the thoughts of your own mortality.

Embrace death. Write your death into every fiber of your being. Let your thoughts of It infect every centimeter of your mind. Let the terrifying ice cold fear of It strike you like lightning as you lay in bed trying to sleep.

Don’t let It turn you cynical. Let It remind you of the temporary nature of this world, and allow you to be virtuous and charitable, even to the most wretched and evil being you find. Let It change you into a human that is one with his own nature.

Only then will you understand death, and embrace It without your fear of the unknown. After all, everyone’s gotta do It someday. Your best friend, your worst enemy, and everyone in between.
