Late '00s was not a good time to do law
grad school I go to for bus has one of like top 15 law schools in nation and they were like why doing you do both and I considered it and I always go back and forth
Market got saturated with new lawyers around '11-'13
fam said they wouldnt pay and now they were like gimme routing # for mba shiett
I would of been law degree cash free nigga
I WAS JEWED
I was considering law and fam legit sperged
Eh, you gotta get lucky to do really cool shit with law
well we know enough I know id get legit internships
Business is more versatile IMO
and im a dominant enough personality and can litigate
Hire lawyers when you need them
but my grandfather was like WTF DO YOU KNOW HOW MANY LAWYERS I HAVE HIRED
NOT JUST FOR BUS
Take that skill into boardrooms, you can do more
BUT FOR LAW
I WONT PAY REEE ITS OVER SATURATED
and he cucked me
Grandpa probably is right
I've got buddies 6 figures in debt making like $75k
I would have zero debt and all
but fuck 3 years for 75K lmao
I made more out of undergrad in finance
Still, it's a saturated labor market
I was at 78-83 doing risk modelling in banking
STARTING
Nobody could find work with undergrads in the late '00s, went to law school, 3 years later the market is flooded with law grads with no real experience
yeah LSAT test takers have dropped and its evening out
Starting to
but I really feel unless you can do T15> not wurf it
if you can do top 15 go ahead otherwise fuck them
Yea that's true
because then you get the lit internships that are six digits post grad but they recruit based on targets etc
Lol. sounds like bullshit underachieving imo
I'm 27, starting 2L in fall
and even the dece schools here get them but you bette be top 10 in your class to get those firms
I'm working for 3 firms, one as a volunteer
Too much work, no one with skills
If you act like a nigger they're not going to hire you
I work 80 or so hours a week during my time off
