It's a workout plan
c25k is strong but the only problem with it imo is it just states jogging and running and by the end of the program if you were not running at a 6 mile per hour pace you wont actually be running a 5k in 30 minutes
they should tell you to always be running a minimum of a 6 mile per hour pace for the running sections
most people i know who took the program didnt actually run 5ks in 30 minutes by the end which is the only reason why i am saying this.
it's more about how long you run than how far
