Some people experience sleep disruption or anxiety if they consume caffeine, but others show little disturbance. You're just projecting your own bad experience with caffeine onto others.

2018-09-27 16:54:27 UTC

It's totally subjective.

2018-09-27 16:54:29 UTC

Like lactose.

2018-09-27 16:54:39 UTC

>I should intake a bad thing because it doesnt affect everyone the same way

2018-09-27 16:54:44 UTC

Thats a bit dumb

2018-09-27 16:54:51 UTC

It's only bad for you.

2018-09-27 16:54:53 UTC

Not for me.

2018-09-27 16:54:58 UTC

Caffeine is a drug and you are addicted

2018-09-27 16:55:06 UTC

No I'm not.

2018-09-27 16:55:15 UTC

Not yet

2018-09-27 16:55:29 UTC

I don't get anxiety when I don't consume caffeine, nor am I compelled to consume it.

2018-09-27 16:55:57 UTC

You said that you cannot function without it right?

2018-09-27 16:56:14 UTC

>I dont feel bad thing, therefore it doesnt exist

2018-09-27 16:56:20 UTC

Or it would be significantly more difficult

2018-09-27 16:56:30 UTC

Yes, but I'm tired in the mornings, I could skip it if I wanted.

2018-09-27 16:56:48 UTC

Caffeine is not why I'm tired, this is just conjecture.

2018-09-27 16:57:06 UTC

@Deleted User You've yet to prove why caffeine is objectivly bad.

2018-09-27 16:58:04 UTC

A protective effect of caffeine against Alzheimer's disease and dementia is possible. It may protect people from liver cirrhosis. Caffeine may lessen the severity of acute mountain sickness if taken a few hours prior to attaining a high altitude. One meta analysis has found that caffeine consumption is associated with a reduced risk of type 2 diabetes. Two meta analyses have reported that caffeine consumption is associated with a linear reduction in risk for parkinson's disease. Caffeine consumption may be associated with reduced risk of depression.

2018-09-27 16:58:20 UTC

Caffeine is actually good for you in some cases.

2018-09-27 16:58:38 UTC

>In some cases

2018-09-27 16:59:00 UTC

Doesnt change the fact that it fucks with the internal chemistry of your body

2018-09-27 16:59:29 UTC

>well, there may be evidence that caffeine benefits people, but it dosen't benefit me, so therefore, anybody who claims to have benefited from caffeine is lying

2018-09-27 16:59:36 UTC

Projection much?

2018-09-27 17:00:01 UTC

How does it fuck with my internal chemistry? Why is this automatically bad?

2018-09-27 17:00:38 UTC

If it keeps me from getting depressed, which somebody my age is at risk of, then why shouldn't I consume caffeine?

2018-09-27 17:03:18 UTC

Caffeine only blocks adenosine receptors A and A2A. Whilst caffeine's ability to block these receptors means the levels of the body's natural stimulants, dopamine and norepinephrine, continue at higher levels, I'm on the spectrum, so I already have high levels of dopamine, so this is irrelevant to me.

2018-09-27 17:04:41 UTC

You are blocking your hormones artificially

2018-09-27 17:04:51 UTC

Why is this bad?

2018-09-27 17:05:01 UTC

If you think that it will help you, go ahead and do it

2018-09-27 17:05:10 UTC

It helps plenty of people.

2018-09-27 17:05:27 UTC

"everything natural is automatically good"

2018-09-27 17:05:31 UTC

Varg posting.

2018-09-27 17:06:09 UTC

"pests eating my crops is natural, so I'm gonna let them do it, and not vaccinate my kids"

2018-09-27 17:06:49 UTC

Vaccines make you gay

2018-09-27 17:07:15 UTC

I dunno if that's a serious comment or not

2018-09-27 17:07:23 UTC

Did vaccines make you gay?

2018-09-27 17:07:39 UTC

Is this why you fraternise with catboys?

2018-09-27 17:07:41 UTC

Vaccines made me gay

2018-09-27 17:07:45 UTC

Yes

2018-09-27 17:07:53 UTC

Can you prove it?

2018-09-27 17:07:59 UTC

Yes
