yeah some places in the us are fine without it but the houses most of them in the US are wood

they arent solid brick with thick insulation like they are in the UK

in the 90s when i was growing up it'd never get warmer than 75 or 80 during the summer

its getting gradually warmer and warmer in the UK

how much longer until home air conditioning becomes a thing is anyones guess

because the homes cant change

we still get fairly cold winters

I live north of philly we always put in window units in the summer

Parents finally got fucking central AC this year

i'll probably just get a portable unit for the room I sleep in and call it a day...its already been quite hot here

I have plans to get land in Oregon as a little nest egg to build a ranch

I'm already working on it.

so I'm not totally crazy

I'll probably live and work there for another 10 years spending my winter to spring on the ranch

and then move to the ranch full time
