also, im not good with emotion, so i say things super blunt with no tone and no expressions, so ppl seem to think im rude
ha
If you're doing tier 2 work like network engineering or something, you'll deal very little with people, and that's always good lol
I'm really tired of working a job at this point and I'm not going to do this until I'm 65 or 95 or whatever they'll push my retirement age to. Think I'll try my hand and making software like this bot and try to make shekels from it.

Me but unironically hopefully soon
getting married is the best option tbh, i dont technically have to work and due to japans traditional views it would be perfectly acceptable for me to be a stay at home housewife so long as my husband can actually afford us both
but getting married is hard when i havent had srs yet, i have zero effort put in to looking good for a partner, and i live in an area with no japs
or, japs that are jap citizens, since they have to be a jap citizen
i might take vacations in japan or something idk
or i can try to study in japan and go from there, but like, me and school DO NOT mix
especially in another language
For trans stuff you're not even considered female here until you've had some kind of bottom surgery from what I understand
But I mean they don't seem to care at all over here. The only people who stare at you if you look different are old people or kids. Everyone else pretends you don't exist. Not just for trans stuff. I've seen people getting in the train wearing the absolutely most hilarious cosplay items and people pretend they aren't even there
But then again that's Tokyo, people don't really talk at all on the trains there
I came back from a sports event once and had some really goofy facepaint on. Thought I was going to get a few laughs, nobody even looked at me. It's really weird sometimes
Best bet tbh would be a contract position on base until you find something more stable or can manage to get married. I would avoid working for Japanese companies at this point if your goal is to get married because you'll have no real time to date working 18 hours a day 7 days a week.
American companies with branches in Japan are also a good option but takes a lot of searching.
For example Dell here is a good company to work for.
dell used to be a good company to work for in ireland until they moved their europe operations out to poland
was when polish people were moving to ireland like crazy
also chances are if you had a mac from the 80s to the mid to late 90s it was made in Ireland
ireland is somewhat of a tax haven
facebook, twitter, google and apple are all there for tax reasons
they pay fuck all
riot games are there too
fun fact
@i dunno how would i go about getting a contract position for a base? i have no college degree and nothing about me stands out
The only thing they are looking for IT is experience and youre required to pass comptia security+ exam within 6 months
If you're interested I can find where they are posting their contract positions at. But generally contactors don't get relocation paid so you'd have to get here yourself.
You'd enter on a tourist visa and when you get on base they stamp you with a SOFA stamp.
A lot of people I know got those jobs while they were hanging out here as a tourist too
@Eris HOLY SHIT, so theres a ling who killed 60% of the station (violent grab stuns you so he chopped our heads off instantly, 1v1 a ling is impossible) so they sent an ERT team.... the link literally killed 5 ERT soldiers at once by stun batonning them LMFAO, centom sent a message calling them embarassing apes
HAHAHAHA, and the lings got on the escape ship so centcom spawned all the ghosts as a syndie drone on centcom recovery ship, and one of the drones dropped a ton of bombs and blew centcom up, so none of the lings won because they didnt "escape" (cant evac when the evac point is gone <:Think1:338382764154028042> )
This kind of shit makes me want to play ss13 again
i was never a traitor, legit
but it says i was
