Progressives do believe that children should be given a lot more responsibilities, so why not make them justify their conservative stance on voting.

They can't use science to reason against it, because the brain isn't fully developed until age 25, yet we allow voting at the age of around 18

So basically, either teenagers are allowed to vote, or <25 y/o are not allowed to drink, drive, smoke, have sex, etc.
