The 19th amendment, and itβs consequences, have had a disastrous effect on the country
Kind of on all human history tbh
the eternal femoid
What the USA without electoral votes would look like https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/295826901132509186/653272556769509401/76i5dbgxua341.jpg
thats amusing
Don't worry, you'll see Dem's fiercely advocating for that once impeachment fails π
Broke: Banning Transgender Soldiers
Woke: Banning Christian Dog Tags

What's really sad is all of the politicians who say they want to abolish the electoral college to make things fair aren't stupid, they're perfectly aware of all the reasons we use that system, they're just playing the public for fools.
I'll actually support the dog tag policy
They already have religious identifiers - and they're meant for body identification
Not surprised the Army told soldiers to fuck off with their custom bullshit
i dont think its unreasonable to suggest that those who willingly volunteer their personal safety for israel can at least have some customization.... Id say the policy should be that one of the tags HAS to be a non-custom standardized tag with the soldiers info on it, and the other can be whatever they want... or maybe have 2 that are the standard tag then 1 custom.
i dnt see why it has to be one or the other
I'm looking at it from a tactical perspective. You affix one dog tag to your boot and one to your person. This way, a casualty is dismembered ( such as in an IED attack ) you can positively identify maimed body remains
yea and i agree that that makes sense, now why cant they have a 3rd customized tag? π€
Honestly, this is where I would say it doesn't matter. Go ahead, wear as many as you desire. Typically it's restricted to 2 that are placed separately to prevent noise from metal on metal, and potential glare to enemy forces.
oh tru
sheeeeiittt
Imaging you're the commander trying to identify a fallen soldier only to find some obscure psalms reference
thats why you can pick up the rubber sleve for them
True - and this is why I would say it doesn't matter as long as it's not a tactical fuck-up.
Accroding to the reg, at least for the AF is that you can have 1 religous item, IE a cross or dog tag
Lots of dudes have their crosses on their dog tag chain
True. And the regs differ across branches - AF, Dept. of Navy, and Army all have separate regs
But if you got a cool NCO they don't look at it because its always tucked in under the shirt. So its rare
That even this verdict will affect anyone 100%
hmmm ok see i was gonna say... im surprised the military doesnt allow religious iconography considering the situations these men are put in... but i see i was mistaken
they do allow a cross so that seems alright
Common sense applies. Realistically its do as you wish- no one gives a shit unless you're a tactical liability
or they want to get you for something.
i think we should paint crosses on all of our missiles but thats just me
If you're the unit fuck-up, they'll always get you for something.

I mean, if our enemy thinks this is a religious war then i'm all for something like dipping bullets in pig blood or such like.
