It was weird
Oh my God, Dad? Where have you been all these years??
Did you finally get that pack of cigarettes you went out for?
No son, you have the wrong number
Dad why
Because your mom's a bitch

@GUYFUN once the rest of this cools down I would like to talk about what capitalism is to you and to me if you are up for it.
How about what Capitalism IS? 😄
Tsk Tsk
the best understanding i have of capitalism is "the alternative to socialism"
or the idea that someone could profit form their money?
for me I mostly think of it as a different word for "free market"
gotta love when places like Reddit do this, "we are a platform and that is what made us popular!" then later "we don't like what this community thinks so we are gonna try and deplatform them"
freedom, individuals can own their own things and control them
that's what I believe in, if I spend my money to buy or build more houses and then rent them out at a rate that is competitive with building your own house isn't that a good thing?
but i feel like people would just think i was a bad guy because i'm a land lord.
not to lazy folks. they want to regulate that away
I know, they want to regulate it because they want it for free and they ignore all of the cost to maintain such a property.
they think its ok to take something form me because "well you aren't useing it!" or something like that.
greed drives 'everything belongs to everyone'
and EVERYONE HAS A RIGHT TO HOUSING. nope
"everything belongs to everyone, except my stuff that's mine and you can't have it"
seems to be the way they all think.
get a tent, go stay on national government land, it's free, enjoy
even Bernie Sanders, "there should be no millionaires and billionaires"
ok buddy aren't you a millionaire who owns 3 rather large houses?
"but that's ok because i wrote a book!"
sound about right?
I know he has backed off of the millionaires, but I think that's only because people found out how much he was worth and started to call him out on it.
So I've just found out about the impeachment. I'm not really up on US politics because *Britbong* but does someone more knowledgeable wanna catch me up on what the deal is and what happens next for Orange Man?
it gets passed over to the Senate and they decide what to do with it.
they could have hearings of their own
they could just throw it out
and i'm sure plenty of other options that i'm not aware of.
but nothing changes for Trump yet.
though from what I've heard, the proceedings in the Senate could restrict other candidates from campaigning, so that would be funny.
because those candidates are involved with some of these accusations.
*Implying the DNC would select any alternative candidate to Biden*
Biden's def gonna get it lol
So he hasn't really been impeached, it's more just a vote on what they think the charges are to move onto impeachment in the senate?
