People who use the word "hate" as an object noun are invariably creating more hate than they address.

2020-01-28 23:55:30 UTC

I am forced to disagree. That's a silly parameter

2020-01-28 23:55:45 UTC

If you're trying to tackle "hate" you're not doing anything productive, you'll just polarize people further away from you because they don't understand.

2020-01-28 23:56:08 UTC

"Hate" is never given a justification, so they see the reaction to evil as a sin.

2020-01-28 23:56:21 UTC

Instead of, you know, the evil itself.

2020-01-28 23:56:41 UTC

I agree its a fruitless endeavor, but simply endeavoring at all isn't automatically a certain negative

2020-01-28 23:57:14 UTC

its a waste of their time, but not much more unless they take it too far

2020-01-28 23:57:39 UTC

Pushing a wood splinter further into your skin is not going to get rid of the splinter. You have to pull it out to remove it. There is a right and wrong way to go about dealing with an aggravating problem.

2020-01-28 23:58:02 UTC

I refuse to believe you don't see how silly that comparison is

2020-01-28 23:58:30 UTC

Pushing it further in may cause it to become submerged, and not drag or catch anymore, but the risk of infection is too high.

2020-01-28 23:59:24 UTC

by acknowledging that "hate" as an individual concept can't be quantified or coherently adressed, you've already annulled this binary example

2020-01-28 23:59:44 UTC

again, a silly comparison

2020-01-29 00:00:32 UTC

Wanting to kill people is not natural default state.

2020-01-29 00:00:50 UTC

No, it isn't, which was one of my points as well

2020-01-29 00:00:57 UTC

If you're going to accuse someone of homicidal tendencies towards a certain group, you have to ask why.

2020-01-29 00:02:16 UTC

And I already said homophobia varies by degrees. what I also said was I can't really think of any significant anti-gay sentiment that doesn't directly imply negative intent

2020-01-29 00:02:28 UTC

besides not wanting to marry a homosexual

2020-01-29 00:02:54 UTC

Hate is a Relative term

2020-01-29 00:02:54 UTC

by that of course I mean, an individual not wanting to marry another individual

2020-01-29 00:03:01 UTC

yes it is

2020-01-29 00:03:23 UTC

For instance, Christians can refer to Satanists as Hateful

2020-01-29 00:03:41 UTC

more often you hear it about atheists

2020-01-29 00:03:56 UTC

Now, I find them Antagonistic retards, but they aren’t really hateful

2020-01-29 00:04:01 UTC

or *from* atheists toward religious

2020-01-29 00:04:36 UTC

Stating that two homosexual men cannot reproduce is not hateful

2020-01-29 00:04:45 UTC

nope

2020-01-29 00:04:50 UTC

its not anti-gay either

2020-01-29 00:05:20 UTC

But given the relativity, there is someone who finds that Statement Hateful

2020-01-29 00:05:47 UTC

Usually it stems from saying “I’m Christian and I don’t agree with Same-Sex Marriage”

2020-01-29 00:06:27 UTC

It’s not that I want to kill them or for them to be dead, I personally find it repulsive, but their private life is none of my business

2020-01-29 00:07:45 UTC

well stating biological fact and saying "I'm repulsed that these two would marry" aren't exactly synonymous

2020-01-29 00:09:13 UTC

and conjoining them in context would imply mentioning the inability to reproduce as a weak excuse to support the negative attitude

2020-01-29 00:09:43 UTC

however the sentiment of "its none of my business" puts the matter to rest

2020-01-29 00:13:02 UTC

It’s not the Marriage itself, it’s the Activities

2020-01-29 00:13:30 UTC

I guess the better way of saying it is I find Homosexual Sex Repulsive and Unnatural

2020-01-29 00:13:40 UTC

That includes PeePee in the Pooper

2020-01-29 00:13:49 UTC

Regardless of Orientation

2020-01-29 00:33:54 UTC

The thing is tho that is isn’t unnatural, we have seen homosexual action in many animals

2020-01-29 00:37:29 UTC

yea animals tend to hump anything and everything

2020-01-29 00:37:49 UTC

To be specific we've seen *bisexual* behavior in many species. The sort of exclusive homosexual pair bonding in our species is fairly unique. Male-male sex acts in other primates are usually dominance displays sort of like prison sex. Even avians that form 'lesbian' pair bonds *raise young* which is not possible without some hetro behaviors.

2020-01-29 00:38:40 UTC

Not that that validates or invalidates anything they call it 'the naturalistic fallacy' for a reason.
