and why they got 13 under May

2020-01-28 12:01:37 UTC

I trust Boris to continue the moves of undermining the SNP and helping Scotland realise that they've been taken for a ride

2020-01-28 12:01:38 UTC

Plot twist the SNP are a puppet government of Sinn Fien

2020-01-28 12:01:47 UTC

hahaha

2020-01-28 12:01:59 UTC

that would make a lot of sence actually @Gaylien

2020-01-28 12:41:21 UTC

as long is the core is excempt

2020-01-28 12:41:24 UTC

seems fine

2020-01-28 12:42:47 UTC

I bet half the gchq devices are chinese made anyway

2020-01-28 12:43:15 UTC

nearly all of the networking equipment probably is

2020-01-28 12:51:09 UTC

friday will be interesting...

2020-01-28 12:51:43 UTC

as well as brexit day... its the Euro/ECB inflation figures AND euro GDP released at the same time 10am

2020-01-28 12:52:06 UTC

so depending on those figures, the gbp vs euro could tank (or go up a lot)

2020-01-28 12:52:34 UTC

the consensus appears to say it will be higher than last year

2020-01-28 12:53:19 UTC

gdp will be higher and inflation will be lower (according to the consensus)

2020-01-28 12:53:31 UTC

(for the euro/EU)

2020-01-28 12:55:56 UTC

hang on Ive got it the previous and consensus the wrong way around ... its going to be a lower GDP and higher inflation for EU

2020-01-28 13:03:41 UTC

was gonna say, you dont get to do all that quantitive easing and lower inflation lol

2020-01-28 13:04:12 UTC

I thought brexit day was 31st

2020-01-28 13:04:27 UTC

nice update though @wacka im looking forward to the 31st even more now

2020-01-28 13:04:33 UTC

31st is friday mate

2020-01-28 13:07:13 UTC

Funny comments

2020-01-28 13:10:08 UTC

well the higher inflation is not bad for them... its still under target, so higher is actually better for them

2020-01-28 13:12:01 UTC

but I imagine those figures will come out (if they are on consensus then it probably wont effect things much) but if it beats consensus... you just know the guardian already has an article written, ready to publish at 10am when the figures come out . "pound plummets because of brexit" ... nothing to do with those important figures that came out eh? ... it always seems to coincide with a brexit announcement

2020-01-28 13:13:37 UTC

I seem to remember the day carney dropped BoE rates was on the same day as some brexit announcement and everyone ignored the more important rate decision and blamed brexit

2020-01-28 13:14:52 UTC

and its funny because you can immediately tell whats going on if you look at an fx chart... if it moves at all.. it will be at exactly 10am .. you would think if it was brexit it would be a different time and more gradual

2020-01-28 13:15:20 UTC

but anyway... thats whats in store for friday

2020-01-28 13:25:51 UTC

Are we actually getting our people out of China or not?

2020-01-28 13:26:36 UTC

to bring the virus here?

2020-01-28 13:26:51 UTC

We can quarantine them

2020-01-28 13:27:04 UTC

how about we quarantine them in China 😛

2020-01-28 13:27:20 UTC

Are we doing that?

2020-01-28 13:27:26 UTC

2020-01-28 13:27:47 UTC

"A wild racist has appeared"

2020-01-28 13:39:29 UTC

@PureEvilPie comments are funny, but still, it's not the government that tells business how to do what they do, that's down to them

2020-01-28 13:39:38 UTC

the gov has just informed them that a thing is happening

2020-01-28 13:39:57 UTC

so, they can get fucked if their premise is on the idea that gov should dictate everything
