my mum had 4 jobs when I was a teen

3 of them were bar jobs, 1 was weekend admin job at a flying school, she did a uni course during the weekday

she also took in her friends ironing for extra cash

she could have easily gone to the gov for handouts, being a single mum, but... different times I guess...
