but tbh, nothing like employee at all really...
far more like contractor
since there are literally no rights... so.. basically.. a contractor
but if you're an employee the compan ystill gets to decide what you do
they can fire you for example
so youtube can just delete your channel if they want
you're just being let go
yeah, just like a company can drop your contract
not saying youtube should be like this... but this is currently the most accurate analogy IMO
this was the video that brought this up. https://youtu.be/Q_Sfh6k9GRI
its more like volunteer work
theres no guarantee of pay
and no real rights associated
@cheiften98 "tyranny suits me when its for me"
yep
thats a good quote.
hes using the argument youtube would use to delete his channel if he stepped out of line
its not a quote i made that up
I like it tho xD
ill quote you when i use it
"i dont want it to be taken out of context"
"i dont want advertises to see that"
"youtube is advertiser friendly, this content is not allowed"
Its pretty ridiculous.
the argument is about whether companies should be allowed to refuse service
cos hes arguing that its his comments section so he gets to decide who comments
Its like deciding who can review a product.
youtube argues its their platform so they get to decide who has a channel
yeah yeah
you pick people you like
what happens when the banks refuse you service
what about the grocers
print your own money? grow your own food?
the NHS refusing to serve you if you're "racist".
Banks have banned people too because media outlets go to them saying. "did you know one of your customers is a Nazi, are you a Nazi."
yeah richard spencer
this is why you should have to bake the cake
hmm
Businesses should be forced to serve any customer?
