No one should believe official figures

2020-02-21 11:40:53 UTC

There also his drive to try to get at least 50% of school leavers to go to uni.
Which also made an entire generation into debtors with tuition fees.
And a fall in standards for uni’s.
As well as more junk degrees, including those in social justice crap

2020-02-21 11:49:10 UTC

He fucked society basically

2020-02-21 11:49:15 UTC

3 year self financed dole queue

2020-02-21 11:49:56 UTC

It would be interesting to know how many went to uni after school before Blair

2020-02-21 11:50:37 UTC

The average modern student is basically their own social class

2020-02-21 11:52:17 UTC

100 000 's more crap sociology, photography, business study type grads.

2020-02-21 11:52:27 UTC

In fact it's gotta be the worst social class

2020-02-21 11:52:41 UTC

Midwit progressive nihilists

2020-02-21 11:55:19 UTC

Trades and skilled jobs starved of bright people who were too naive to fall for the mustuni game

2020-02-21 12:05:00 UTC

more info on the wet wood stuff

2020-02-21 12:05:12 UTC

looks to be purely on buying retail "read to use" type things

2020-02-21 12:05:30 UTC

it says that larger quantites will be compled to provide advice on drying

2020-02-21 12:05:44 UTC

so you could still buy wet wood for storage like I do for my home stove

2020-02-21 12:06:45 UTC

Given that this is about reducing PM2.5 I kinda support them banning places like B&Q selling wet wood for log burners

2020-02-21 12:07:56 UTC

I like on a road that's between two areas, even tho i'm in a villiage that still brings a lot of traffic, I think they should consider a tax break for people who will install pm2.5 filters on their cars to make the air less poluted on road side areas

2020-02-21 12:09:28 UTC

I haven't got any evidence aside from what I've personally seen - but through the trickle vents and on the outside windows it's so disgusting the amount of pollution that settles

2020-02-21 12:25:18 UTC

the only thing the British empire did wrong was stop existing. change my mind.

2020-02-21 12:26:51 UTC

And not actively colonising Africa and India with hordes of Britons

2020-02-21 12:27:06 UTC

And allowing America to exist

2020-02-21 12:27:15 UTC

what self respecting white man would live there though?

2020-02-21 12:27:47 UTC

Some did go

2020-02-21 12:27:58 UTC

But not enough to make strong enclaves

2020-02-21 12:28:06 UTC

bollywood, that weird nigerian counterpart, and telimarketers didn't exists yet.

2020-02-21 12:28:15 UTC

That's true

2020-02-21 12:28:48 UTC

But the Raj was peak India

2020-02-21 12:29:04 UTC

And the Indians know it

2020-02-21 12:30:00 UTC

Plus the black population in Africa in the 1900s was only 100 million

2020-02-21 12:30:09 UTC

Compared to a billion today

2020-02-21 12:30:24 UTC

Much easier to *actually* colonise back then than now

2020-02-21 12:30:51 UTC

Having the Cape be british wasn't enough

2020-02-21 12:31:33 UTC

white colonies wouldn't create white countries without some form of genocide. this was and is seen in south africa, not the country, but all of southern africa.

2020-02-21 12:31:51 UTC

Rhodesia never dies

2020-02-21 12:31:52 UTC

The whites didn't genocide blacks in South Africa

2020-02-21 12:31:55 UTC

exept when it does

2020-02-21 12:32:03 UTC

exactly

2020-02-21 12:32:06 UTC

they didn't

2020-02-21 12:32:15 UTC

and that's the right thing
