The worst thing is singleplayer games that have their own launcher. Like Stellaris

its sort of complex but not as bad as arma

And even worse than the worst thing is companies making singleplayer games always online to integrate them into their piss launchers (hi, Blizzard)

the reason i hate playing arma 2 is because it take so fucking long to learn all the controls when all i want to do is shoot people with realistic gun play

fun fact: Arma was not meant to be played by people in third/first person at all

the launcher lets you turn on and off dlc and mod modules easily so it's good to have in paradox games

I.e. you'd plan a scenario and the soldiers/tanks/planes/helis would fight while you can observe

paradox launchers are ok for me as they gave great mod support

This is why Arma had all the bones in the soldier models - for damage assessment

Your guy in Tarkov has bones.

If your leg breaks you limp

If your arm breaks, your aim goes to shit

i want realistic gunplay like amra but without the faff and physics bullshit of the arma games

Tarkov is still pretty complex.

It has a lot of keybinds.

i want a pc singleplayer shooter that has the easy to play like fallout but difficult to master like arma

Tarkov wouldn't be as fun without friends tho ngl

Singleplayer would make it a snoozefest

that would make it better if it was singleplayer but with co-op against bots

Also, you don't get that sense of Schadenfreude from killing bots.

The best feeling in Tarkov is killing a very juicy player and stealing all his goodies

so loads of GOOD bots running around that know how to flank and shit and you and your friends have to work together as the bots would be actually competent

Oh they are anyways haha

They're called Scavs.

They're not super hard, but there are also

Player Scavs

and PMCs

to worry about

And if you go on Reserve or The Lab

There are "Raider Scavs" which are scavs but with aimbot

and good gear

so they fuck you up

Also there's

Killa, Gluhar, Reshala, and Shturman

which are all Scav bosses.
