Thankfully I could afford one in 2012 so I could play games with pixel shader past v 1.1 (the radeon almost fell apart by that time, system saw it as 8 different cards, what the fuck even, so eventually was forced to revert to the geforce 440 <:pepelaugh:544857300179877898> )

Oh, right. I had to swap it back, because those 8 virtual videocards started to swap the fucking display output

And one day it just wouldn't come back on

i was amazed to finally have lights on the street on NFS carbon when i finally got me a 8800GT

the weirdest thing that happened to me was the first time i built a pc

it had this fan that you had to reach back and push on a clip to remove it

i had a mobo that plainly refused to play ball with my gpu

one in three times comp failed to post

i was trying to get it out and my hand slipped and ran along the edge of the plastic fan casing

otherwise worked perfectly
