Because even though 3M and Dupont knew that these chemicals were dangerous as far back as the 1950's, they still continued to manufacture them and sell them, claiming that they were harmless.

They also oppose democracy, calling it "mob rule" and holding that the "rights of the individual" always trumps the rights or needs of the collective.

First of all, it's much easier to regulate big coal plants and prohibit them from releasing poisonous chemicals, than regulating what dicks and drugs people put in their body

Second of all, you don't have a liberty to poison another person, but you do have a liberty to poison yourself if you wish.

Apart from maybe promiscuity, which you have a point on, I wasn't aware classical liberals had those viewpoints
