its all solid plastic
as opposed to real terrain modelling
with epoxy water and plaster earth
Building dioramas is an art.
I did the homework, I understand well enough that it's an involved craft.
It's an art as much as it is a skill or craft.
Especially when you're modelling something that doesn't exist IRL.
that isnt a diorama though
its typical of gamestores
they have a bunch of terrain pieces held in common
Eh, using craft in the same way that smithing is craft. XD
and theyll grab out a bunch to set up a game
it takes some time and effort to assemble and paint
This isn’t a game store collection
but its not the same level as train dioramas
Yeah, it's a diorama. You can call it a wargaming table all you want, but it's a distinction without a difference. The same skillsets are involved in creating the two.
This represents hundreds of hours of work by my friends and I
@Goodwood of Dank™ dioramas dont get moved
^
@Magnus the Goat, Snowpelt King They absolutely do. Especially if you're building for competition.
I've seen some absolutely killer dioramas on the internet.
by moved i meant
Next image is my icon
they arent ocmposed of removable parts
everything is built into the scene
You're splitting hairs.
Nothing can't be moved with enough effort. <:hypersmugon:544638648721604608>
if you ust put a bunch of modular buildings on top of a level ground
it wouldnt look good
or ats least not diorama good
itd be normal quality for wargames though
It's still a diorama.
It’s modular, all built on the same size squares. The roads line up so you can rearrange them as the scenario dictates.
because they only have a few tables
It's just a shit diorama.
You literally give 50 dollars to some retard on the internet stfu
and dont have the space to constantly be changing tables
@Scale_e that one looks much better quality ise
