I see what you mean but positive nihilism seems like an acceptance of the inherent negativity of nihilism by creating some metaphysical virtues you know don't ultimately make life more objectively meaningful but do anyway so as to avoid either drowning in nihilism or being held underfoot by some religion.

Like giving yourself meaning instead of allowing it to be imposed on you, knowing full well that there is no objective meaning to doing so but that it is both liberating and gives some element of momentary subjective (and percievably objective if properly fulfilled and applied so as to dupe yourself into merging the two as does religion) purpose to your blip of life.

The only problem I find with nihilism, though, is that nobody can be sure of life's lack of meaning. The fact nihilists believe that life has no meaning is purely because they really don't know whether it has any meaning, but that all attempts to give it meaning are based on this lack of knowledge does not seem to help, unless it purports to be the thing of only yet another improvable deity.
