So hear me out, I want to become the 4chan equivalent of the 'reddit user'. So I'm telling you that I'm you'ing you so you'll end up reading this so I can get other people to pay attention to your posts because they're important to note.
This is part of some kind of attention economy for things on 4chan. This structure produces a much different 'pro' user. The highest quality bants and the highest quality discussion in general comes from this structure. I think the understanding of it is vital to produce any sort of pedagogy for 'newfags' as we've often called them.
