He has more (you)'s than you do chief. That much mean his post is more important because people had to put out the effort to make a reply. Once you start thinking of 4chan in economic terms you can really cut through the bullshit.
4chan is a text mmo with (you)'s as the basic currency. But you's are only local to a thread so you get many opportunities to work on how you can use magic words or images to get people to think about a topic and reply.
This locality that threads have is what creates the high (higher than reddit) quality discussion. Repeated instances of same discussion topic hones your ability to debate and think. One can almost think of there being a 4chan posting 'meta game'
