I never fully enjoyed battlefield 2

I remember I played CoD MW the first time in one

I think battlefield 2 is my most played game, I still play it sometimes. Just with the AIX 2 mod.

I didn't even know about local LAN centers

we had an ok one but it was mismanaged to hell

probably could have stayed open a few more years than it did

We had places in malls that had xbox 360s and you could play for 2 hours for 5$

there's probably a viable business model for something like a LAN center but idk

it probably wouldn't look like they used to

There's still a ton of those in "poorer" countries

right

maybe something specifically aimed at people that wanna play with their friends in the same room and not just randos that need a computer/internet access

I think the best would be to have some spots like that but also just rooms that you could rent for smaller lans

higher pricing schedule but also more amenities

where people would bring their own tech

Yeah but if I could chose between having a lan party at someones place where you put 6 pc on a dinner table and a place that's dedicated for it I'd probably chose the latter one

Problem with LAN centers is that no one cares about property

I think the risk of vandalism is always a bit too high for using any high end tech though sadly

So you'd get a mouse with Dorito dust and boogies on it

And the keys would be missing

Halo 3 LAN parties were the peak of humanity

we will never again reach that level of quality
