I find it amazing, bewildering, terrifying, that, that is human nature. That most of us would happily destroy eachother, to get ahead, I find it gross, understanding it can't completely mitigate how repulsive it is to see such things happen, you know?

I disagree. If it weren't for the social contract, most people would happily engage in this behaviour, I think.
I'm referring to 'bullies', you know, violent people who prey on those weaker than them for shallow, selfish reasons.

No, I think you're being too sensitive. You better be glad you get a window into the netherworld of humanity. I certainly cherish the various times I've had web conversations with criminals and murderers. Far worse is it when those people are hidden from society, left freely to do their deeds without an eye noticing.

Most people are conflicted within themselves, which is far different than pure terrorism that you witness online.
