So I have this problem where one of my players never pays attention to the game, so we always need to backtrack to tell him what has happened, this of course takes a lot of time. Am I mean if I make him draw a card in my modified deck of many things every time he starts doing something else?

So in my world I have this one Archlich called Barakas Dabe. He's a tiefling lich that has been alive for a *very* long time, and very very powerful. Basically on par with a God/demigod. I thought it would be fun to have some race that he created. Instead of only undead.

The guy is True Neutral. An incarnation of "Not my problem". But I'm gonna have this story arch were one of the large human empires start slaughtering tieflings. A mass exodus begins, and they search for him. He gets empathetic, and gives these people shelter with his own created race.

Any ideas?
