Well if it's a battery it's one thing
If it's a generator it's another
For making calculations at least
@EnderOctanus yeah I expected them to be pretty old, I have worked with a lot of equipment that's much older than me
yes
He did it wrong
There should only be three points in both directions of the resistance symbol, not four.
Chad zig zag American resistor
Vs
Virgin rectangle EU resistor

Pasting here too so more people take notice. Programming languages are under attack by leftists and we no longer can use terms like master/slave in tech: https://bugs.python.org/issue34605. Soon every successful project will be taken over
yes
old news
python is shit
big surprise
It won't take long until everything is infected. Linux foundation's code of conduct has been changed too (https://www.linuxfoundation.org/code-of-conduct/).
Boy is this greyfag late to the party
you are a half year late for that party
i think i will forever stick to python 2.7
i was learning some python, but ill never type a line of it again
what are some good resources to learn that? @M4Gunner
Hoooooo boy
Is there a question for the ages
for C read the K&R C by Kernighan and Richie
thanks
for C++, learn all of C and then learn the ++ and realize theyre not the same language 😂 🔫
Isn't K&R a bit dated at this point in C's lifespan?
to do some baby C-esque coding, I would recommend messing with arduinos and making a DOOM mod
@Legiondude if you dont know how to code or compile it will leave you lost, and i dont actually have a paper copy
i have the Kochan 😡
But the gist of it is that @AlanPowell , if you learn C++ you know C, and if you know either of those you can tackle basically anything another programming language throws at you
The trick is step 1 though
if you know c++ you do not know C
youre not doing manual memory management is what im told about this
youre not living without the QOL enhancements c++ comes with
so its not C
but learning either is 100% helpful for learning the other
Legiondude is right tho. You should look for a book involving C for modern applications. Still get the knr tho
Im reading ISO C Reference Manual by Harbison and Steele. They sit you down and really go over some specifics
So theres a lot of gaps and burning questions answered there
