but most blokes think of their car as an extension or expression of themselves
I mean I don't really see my car as a pet or an expression, but I don't see it as a tool either
my car for me is a source of pleasure
thus I look after it to maintain that
even the cars I've had that were boring to drive
they still provided access to things that were otherwise prohibitively expensive or difficult without a car
and so I made sure I looked after them
How Logical
yeah I can see that
I could see the Stinger being a good car.
Plus commodores and falcons arent made anymore anyway
π
Oi m8, She's a beaute! Last of the Falcon v8s!
I'd kill for a falcon xbgt coupe
What I'd kill for, personally, is an America-sold Ranger with a turbo Barra in it.
Preferrably with a 6 or 7 speed manual
We need something to fill the hole left by the Syclone, damnit.
Nah, we don't pussy foot around with that 6cyl nonsense anymore. 5.0 or bust
The last time we had a V8 in a medium/small pickup truck, we had the bullshittery that was the 5.3L Canyon.
Let's not do that again.
V8s are great...for muscle cars and big trucks
lol we don't even have L6's stateside anymore.
Not American made, but we do have them
And not in trucks, I admit
Well, yeah, BMW
BMW's six bangers are all L6s
Even their diesels
Mercedes' new 6 cylinder is gonna be an L6 too, IIRC
Also the Ram 2500 diesel is an L6
A big one
GM has a new 6cyl 3.0 diesel
Yeah, we love our Cummins lol
That's an inline? Huh, didn't know that.
I thought for sure they'd go V6 like FCA and Ford.
Nope! π
Cuz that's mainly what those guys do now when it comes to trucks: copy each other.
GM's 2.7T 4 cylinder is probably the newest idea any of the Big Three have had for trucks in years
Yeah, I'm hesitant about that. Maybe in commercial vans, or as a base option in the Camaro lol
Tiny 4bangers don't belong in trucks
