Cheap, Reliable, Fast - Pick 2
Some of the most popular cars amongst milennials are the Renegade and Rogue Sport. Let's be real, milennials give no shits about speed.
*It's so cute though!!*
What milennials want is cheap, long-range, luxurious, and long-lasting.
In addition to green cred
Thing is, if you have the former four, you're not getting a car with the last one
I planted a tree once, is that green enough?
Protip: Porsche V8s are light sleepers
this baby can go for miles by the gallon
Keep it to the track you freaks
keep it to the freaks you track
meh it's a haybusa smart car
people do that in their garage
I imagine the transmission is significantly more useable and it won't have the torque issues bike engine conversions often have
also I didn't think of this earlier but that v8 conversion is a lot more work than smart car engine swaps since the cygnet would originally have been fwd
meh
The Lexus RC-F is the one true modern Supra, change my mind.
it also doesn't have an i6
I don't think it has a turbo option either
Still more of a Toyota than that BMW abomination they're bring to production.
but not a supra
I doubt toyota will ever reincarnate the supra really
Well it's 100 Toyota but doesn't fill the same role.
True on both accounts.
But still, this Gazoo BMW shit pisses me off. Its like the transsexual of cars.
Yeah, I do think it's just a real cop-out that a manufacturer with the motorsport experience and engineering resources Toyota has can't develop a new version of their flagship car in house.
That I definitely don't disagree on.
I mean they made the LFA 8 years ago.
I want this car to somehow still end up being really good, but I don't feel like modern BMW has much positive to contribute to it.
At least if you saw this Goodwood footage it sounds good, and it looks physically small.
Slap a straight 6 into an 86, like the first gen Supra.
I don't think the gt86 needs that, the gt86 just needs a turbo
and besides the gt86 is a subaru really
again, toyota seem to have lost the plot for in house development
I just think the whole thing with all the outsourcing is really weird, considering they make the extremely good Lexus engines and platforms fully in house, but yeah the 86 is its own thing.
The 86 body was developed by Toyota, with Subaru supplying the engine
Subaru manufactures the whole thing though.
because apparently toyota can't design a good engine?
