Mazda CX-5, or some Chevy Equinox?

2018-07-16 02:18:41 UTC

They basically ride on the fact that they can update things as little as possible and keep their reliability and be okay

2018-07-16 02:19:01 UTC

That won't last forever. Anytime they do something new, it is _horrifically_ shitty

2018-07-16 02:19:15 UTC

Unless they contract out to American or German companies to design it.

2018-07-16 02:19:32 UTC

Alright, now I know you smoke crack

2018-07-16 02:19:53 UTC

I mean

2018-07-16 02:19:58 UTC

You don't have to believe me

2018-07-16 02:20:17 UTC

I know people who work in the company, but no I have no documents or shit to prove this.

2018-07-16 02:20:25 UTC

With

2018-07-16 02:20:28 UTC

With the company

2018-07-16 02:20:30 UTC

Not in it

2018-07-16 02:20:44 UTC

okay? I just care about the product quality.

2018-07-16 02:20:55 UTC

It's better.

2018-07-16 02:21:02 UTC

Building something that makes money is also important

2018-07-16 02:21:06 UTC

Also

2018-07-16 02:21:18 UTC

Honda is better than many others out there, but it ain't _that_ good

2018-07-16 02:21:29 UTC

Hasn't been since, what, the 1990s?

2018-07-16 02:21:32 UTC

2000s maybe

2018-07-16 02:21:56 UTC

Honestly I don't know when their quality kinda leveled out. Don't pay much attention to Hondas from pre-2005.

2018-07-16 02:22:45 UTC

Honda is really only as good as they are because they develop via evolution rather than revolution like American companies

2018-07-16 02:22:53 UTC

Who, I will grant you, have other issues as well

2018-07-16 02:23:13 UTC

Anytime Honda does new shit, you get their 10-speed and CVT transmissions

2018-07-16 02:23:27 UTC

Which they'll figure out, sure. Eventually.

2018-07-16 02:23:53 UTC

And then hopefully keep for a decade or two because if they make anything truly new for a while it'll be that BS all over again

2018-07-16 02:24:45 UTC

Also, yes. CX-5 over Equinox.

2018-07-16 02:25:28 UTC

But then again, one of those is made by a company making money hand over fist. The other is made by a company considering selling themselves out because their profit margins are so low.

I forgot that trick

98 that's very early

I was about 13 years old

phone in hand

keep him out

OUT OUT OUT

there's no time to explain

2018-07-16 14:32:27 UTC

For the record regarding Japanese cars and reliability, consumer reports have consistently had the jap manufacturers around the top of their rankings for over a decade

2018-07-16 14:33:14 UTC

While I don't really like the methodology behind a lot of reliability surveys, they are certainly pretty suggestive that Jap vehicles are solid bets on reliability
