but I don't see why you'd even mention it

That, it is a upgrade

2018-07-20 23:25:13 UTC

* *vapes* Yeah, I totally replaced the engine oil with Amsoil synthetic.*

but it came with everything else or you end up falling off cliff

he just wants credit for bleeding it out

he can bleed a brake line, can you?

2018-07-20 23:27:18 UTC

the actual performance difference would be down to the boiling point and my bet is you'd max out even upgraded calipers and rotors before you reached even the dot3 boiling point

2018-07-20 23:28:18 UTC

the cruze isn't designed as a performance car so unless you really went crazy on brakes I doubt "upgrading" the fluid will ever do anything

but it's still an upgrade

SCIENTIFICALLY

2018-07-20 23:34:05 UTC

I'm not really sure if you can call something that makes no difference to performance an upgrade

2018-07-20 23:34:34 UTC

like, if you bolted a gt28 onto a 50cc, is that an upgrade?

2018-07-20 23:34:47 UTC

the engine would never spool it, it would never actually do anything

2018-07-20 23:34:54 UTC

have you upgraded the engine?

have you upgraded the car?

2018-07-20 23:44:07 UTC

What I'm saying is if you add bits onto a car that have the potential to increase performance but for whatever reason due to the configuration the vehicle is unable to utilise the potential, is that an upgrade?

2018-07-20 23:44:11 UTC

I don't think it is

2018-07-20 23:45:30 UTC

the best example would actually be adding rear spoilers to fwd cars

I'm a racing fan

if I can get 0.1 of a second

2018-07-21 01:42:45 UTC

@LOGiK if your car cant feasibly use an upgrade, its really just...nothing really

2018-07-21 01:43:09 UTC

If its not visible, you cant even call it rice. Its even less useful

2018-07-21 02:18:19 UTC

fucking cool

2018-07-21 02:20:07 UTC
2018-07-21 02:20:37 UTC

I don't think that's quite in the same bracket lol

2018-07-21 02:20:57 UTC

@LOGiK It's shorter, but the underpinnings are very similar.

it's white, i'm racist against white cars

2018-07-21 02:21:39 UTC

no awd or 3sgte though

2018-07-21 02:21:51 UTC

It's AWD

2018-07-21 02:22:08 UTC

and the 3S swaps in easily (for a FWD car)

2018-07-21 02:23:16 UTC

lol but yeah, it's nothing compared to a Caldina

2018-07-21 02:23:48 UTC

as far as I can tell the caldina is basically a celica gt4 estate/wagon, but I don't know much about them

2018-07-21 02:24:27 UTC

Sort of. The transmissions aren't nearly as strong as the Celica GT4

2018-07-21 02:24:36 UTC

Those were pretty unique

2018-07-21 02:24:41 UTC

well that has some garbage ass triptronic shit

2018-07-21 02:25:12 UTC

And the "center" differential is different as well

2018-07-21 02:25:42 UTC

it's weird how nice cars often end up with garbage transmissions
