why the hell would you but a subaru motor in a beetle?
especially when VW has loads of great 4-bangers that tune super easy and will make 350 wheel without opening the motor
this is pointless sacrelige
size/weight/reliability
there aren't any vw 4cyls that will run 850hp with even a vague hint of reliability
at very least the subaru engine will pretend to be reliable
also, tuner parts availability is a lot higher for subaru engines, not that when doing something of that magnitude it's all that important
with an 850 hp goal a rotary would be a better choice than a vw 4cyl
Also, a similar packaging space as the original.
Subaru swaps into VWs are a dime a dozen
>there aren't any vw 4cyls that will run 850hp with even a vague hint of reliability
look into built german drag racing cars and get back to me.
there are 1000hp Mk1 VW engines bored, stroked, solid titanium everything
1,8L 16V KR Turbo engine GTX4202R 1013HP @ 60psi.
with a Mk2 1.8
0-100km/h in 2.3s
Everybody and their cousin has subaru swapped VW buses and beetles around here
It's the easiest way to mate a modern engine to a rear transaxle
im sure by the law you are allowd to murder a person that do that and if it not it needs to be
Woah, crazy confirmed
The idea that the vw 4cyls running high hp and being reliable is hilarious, like i said a rotary is probably more reliable
claiming electric cars are more environmental the normal petrol cars is a myth when you start to look in to it
depends how many nuke reactors you have <:makes_you_think:382980749780844554>
well Audi kinda kicked this shit off with the big car builders seeings as TESLA hasen't collapsed yet
my biggest objection is the battery. they are far from environmental to produce and almost impossible to recycle atm. we are just a few year from seeing a flood of Gen 1 Tesla`s that the battery is done for.
yeah the battries are still ☣
Our Lord Savior Elon makes Enviro-Cars and also makes Space Rockets
Do not question him
I've said that from day one.
It's never been a fucking Toyota.
Lol
Idk why Toyota are doing this
Take 86 platform, stretch it a bit, and stick a Toyota V6 in it
With twin turbos
Close enough
