Perhaps, but Pipe-gun are more reliable and durable

2018-09-05 11:33:58 UTC

3D printing? yea you need the printer, the materials (which typically won't hold up to what it needs for a bullet being fired)

$$$$$

2018-09-05 11:34:29 UTC

Plastic guns explode... Pipe-guns don't.

2018-09-05 11:36:26 UTC

Firearm > Pipe gun > Flintlock > Printed gun

2018-09-05 11:37:04 UTC

Yes!
You read correctly. Flintlock > Printed gun

2018-09-05 11:42:11 UTC

pretty much

2018-09-05 11:42:37 UTC

but you can give plastic gun a steel/metallic barrel can't you?

2018-09-05 11:43:07 UTC

you can but that isn't what is being discussed in regards to a plastic gun

2018-09-05 11:43:37 UTC

hell, give me a blunderbuss over a plastic gun lol

2018-09-05 11:45:40 UTC

that

2018-09-05 11:47:00 UTC

oh yeah that thing...

2018-09-05 11:47:08 UTC

😂

2018-09-05 11:47:15 UTC

nah give me

wheellock revolver

2018-09-05 11:52:52 UTC

Yes, but we're talking about improvised firearms; and in that case it goes Pipe > Flintlock > Printed Custom > Pure Printed.

2018-09-05 11:53:17 UTC

<:thronk:441701565607444482>

2018-09-05 11:53:40 UTC

Fixed it. Pipe then flint.

2018-09-05 11:53:52 UTC

yup

2018-09-05 11:53:56 UTC

Pipe has faster reload and more accurate ammunition types

2018-09-05 11:56:41 UTC

then you get one of these

2018-09-05 11:56:50 UTC

or make

2018-09-05 11:57:00 UTC

Even with a metal barrel you still have the issue of durability with Printed customs.

And to be honest in many cases Pipe is cheaper to fabricate anyway.

2018-09-05 11:57:39 UTC

Wood? really?

2018-09-05 11:58:19 UTC

brass i think

2018-09-05 11:59:04 UTC

You could mould the parts from Alluminium once you have the wooden parts though. Why didn't they? (You can see the wood-grain)

2018-09-05 11:59:52 UTC

Use the wooden cutouts to make a mould in sand. Then pour molten Alluminium over the mould

2018-09-05 12:00:00 UTC

Simple

2018-09-05 12:00:22 UTC

well yeah

2018-09-05 12:01:34 UTC

You'd have to polish the cast Allumimium, but it would be very inexpensive if you recycled Drinks cans.

homemade zip gun

2018-09-05 12:04:41 UTC

If they reproduced the wooden gun in cast Allumimium that'd be the perfect improvised firearm.

These appear to be Hammer-Pipe Guns, not the most efficient but very easy to craft.

2018-09-05 12:11:36 UTC

That looks awesome.
