who else thinks senator armstrong was a good guy, but would still fight his policies because they're too extreme

at the very least I think he was a good villain with a reason for fighting that was in his eyes, for the betterment of mankind

I skipped most of the story

I didn't particularly enjoy the gameplay

did you know there was a parry?

I got to the penultimate boss without knowing there was a parry/block

and couldn't beat him

so I googled it and found a kotaku article saying "are you stuck on the first miniboss? well there's a parry that the game doesn't tell you about"

lol I don't remember, I did the first 2 stages and while the chopping mechanic is fun it gets old super fast and the game is just a mindless grind

with basically the gayest character in the entire metal gear franchise

I just like mindless games I guess

it wasn't very grindey at least, like compared to other games that come out of japan, I never had to redo a level to get more xp

once I turned 5 cars into scrap the game had nothing more to offer me

I bought it like 4 years ago on sale and just played it last week because some friends were over and I needed to entertain them

I got it ages ago and then played it last month

maybe if I was playing the entire time it would have been more boring and repetitive

but I got bored and played just cause instead

pretty much anything can be fun if you're making fun of it with your buddies

connecting cables to cars and pedestrians

is great fun

and yet it was still fun af to play

Fc2 did possibly have one of the best damage models in a game ever made

I really liked the game

and I expected fc5 to be more like fc2 than 3 and 4

but the story in 5 was so bad

I wish the cult buried the nukes instead of the bullshit "north korea nuked a small rural state in america 3 times"

The ending in fc5 did just make me angry as it did have tds all over it.

think I'm gonna grab Witcher 3 in the next sale

It's worth it
