it's low brow click bait
Race Warski is slowly becoming Edge Warski
he was pretty edgy on that stream with Laura Bloomer, when spurred on by Jim
Has Andy made any good argument? As in, "here's a must-see video by Andy"?
The other day he was basically earning his Atheist Fedora
I've always considered him in the shoeonhead category
perhaps looking to graduate Jim's dramawhoring school
Yeah, that's how I always viewed him. Not that I ever cared about him much either.
atheist fedoras come pretty cheap, just go to your average christian youtuber and spam "god is not real lul" or similar trollbait, and you'll be the proud owner of one in a day or less, depending on the popularity of the youtuber whose comments you chose to spam
good fun too, at times, given the amount of butthurt your average religious person seems to experience even at silly taunts like that
I ask because I thought Crowder was also just yet another shit stirrer with nothing intelligent to say, but since the Alexa video, I gave a second look, and noticed he's actually really smart.
I'd certainly put Crowder above Adam Racewarski in terms of <:high_iq:382980759012638731>
A lot of religious people just know about evangelism, not about apologetics. Not hard to own somebody that isn't prepared to engage in a conversation.
I could throw flat earth arguments at you and you'd fuck up in the refutation of a few, most likely, unless you prepared.
but I find his political views to be that of your run of the mill conservative, nothing much to get me to watch more than the odd video or two
don't find his humor interesting either, goes for Andy as well.
but to each their own, I suppose
Yeah, the low brow humor was what gave me the false impression that he was an idiot.
oh I definitely would if you didn't give me time to respond
but if we had a typical forum/reddit debate, I'm sure I'd be able to call you out on most of the standard flat earther nonsense
But, watch his Change My Mind videos, he's quite smart at discussing things. He also pointed out, when he has a debate, he doesn't let the other guys there to chip in and "help".
okay, I'll put it on my watch later list
I've yet to find a conservative whose opinions I've continuously wanted to seek out on the issues of modern society, though
but I'd like to at least pretend my mind is open enough to entertaining their arguments for the time they deserve
Not even Ben Shapiro?
on certain issues, certainly, but I find that others provide similar views without having to be reminded of his religious views time and again
so I don't really see much of a point
I'm happy to support him when he's speaking sense, which is more often than not
Ben doesn't really invoke religion much. Most of his arguments are purely secular, he adds a religious perspective here and there, but it's rare for his arguments to rely purely on religion.
it's true that he doesn't, but it seeps in there, and I am a heavy fedora-tipper when it comes to religion. It just gets on my nerves, and for something I consider an enjoyable pastime, youtube videos, I really don't need the depressing reminder of religion's existence popping up again and again.
Same with Crowder, one of the Change My Mind was on abortion, he didn't appeal to religion even once.
Steven "most of you deserve to go to hell anyway" Crowder.
did he change your mind on abortion, though? assuming you weren't against it to begin with
takes some edge to make a statement like that, lol
or perhaps it's just more of that odd humor I don't get
Change My Mind videos are videos where he goes out, usually to a university, and sits down to talk and argue about a specific topic to whoever wants to have the conversation.
I watched one where he went out and talked to feminists, I think
stopped watching when some annoying harpy was on, iirc
Crowder is a Catholic. That was his response to "why aren't you trying to convert people?"
not crowder's fault, obviously
so he's not the kind of catholic that thinks you just have to ask for forgiveness from god to receive it?
