guys
own all of the distributers
GUYS
what are we doing
How can you corner me out of the market?
the alt-right claim this place is an echo chamber
STOP DISAGREEING
so what stops me from making my own distribution network?
anyhoo, would like to continue participating in this, but gotta go pass out. Try not to kill each other
Contracts
night reapsie
If you own the distributers you contract the sales companies to work with only you
new business can never really get off the ground
You realize 90% of glasses are made and sold by one company
~~tbh oligopolies are a bigger problem than monopolies~~
just under many names
but if you're running your business and overpricing your glasses, I could offer a better deal to your distributors
the big company could just trump your price to the distributor
Some have tried that
oakley did, until that distributer bought the majority of their stock
You can walk into say a vision works. see 90 odd brands all owned or majority owned by 1 comany including visionworks itself.
you should look into it. It is interesting stuff
the way they took over the industry
the only reason they arnt a *monopoly* is online, and the way the ownership is done. As well as free sales companies
But while that happens not full monopolies like microsoft are hit.
did you even watch AA's video?
?
whomst be AA
Academic Agent
oh i figured amazing athiest
to many aas
he seems like a very economically conservative type judging by his titles
and he's anti-keynes <:think_woke:378717098681171988>
I buy my glasses for like $20/pr from Zenni who has them made in China, and then the lenses ground in California.
There's alternatives out there.

20$
@Ruggwain Yeah, Zenni optical. They last about 6months of hard use, and I can buy several at a time. No need to worry about breaking or losing them that much.
they really can't decide whether the founding fathers were white slave trading warlords or if they were immigrants
