"Let me preface this: I am a member of the center-right. First of all: The Marxist version of communism not having any state attached to it sounds good in principle, but it's hardly something that will work in practice. How do you plan to handle redistribution without an authoritative body in charge of handling redistribution? I can guarantee you that people will not willingly share and give their money away. Some people are just greedy. Marx's version of communism requires the assumption that ALL people are altruistic, and this is not in any way realistic/pragmatic. Secondly, there is the problem of implementing communism into countries that will inevitably lead to famine. Private business doesn't like communism, as I'm sure you're aware, and they'll leave the moment you seize the means of production, meaning your economy tanks, your money is practically useless, and people begin to starve. This is what happened, and why so many people ended up dying when communism took over. Hungry people are very angry people. Anyways, cheers from this gay centrist (with a right lean).ο»Ώ" I don't make youtube comments often, but when I do they're long and probably never read.

member of the center-right. First of all: The Marxist version of communism not having any state attached to it sounds good

2018-07-21 22:52:37 UTC

It's completely unrealistic.

2018-07-21 22:52:58 UTC

And it's exactly what Marxist-communists want you to think, that's what they mean by "communism hasn't been tried before."

2018-07-21 22:53:55 UTC

No, Marxist-defined communism hasn't been tried before because it's literally relying on everyone being altruistic.

2018-07-21 22:55:32 UTC

it works until the first powerhungry guy with a gun comes around and then it starts all over and sudenly it was not real communisem and the goal post have been moved

2018-07-21 22:55:59 UTC

You need a state.

2018-07-21 22:56:07 UTC

You cannot have anarchy work.

2018-07-21 22:56:22 UTC

Any centrist would be against full anarchist systems.

2018-07-21 22:56:39 UTC

Which is exactly what Marxist-communists want.

2018-07-21 22:57:16 UTC

You're not a centrist if you're extreme libertarian to the point of being anarchist.

2018-07-21 22:57:19 UTC

even anarchy will in the end up having power structures. to bad it gona be the strong abuse the weak kind of power structures

2018-07-21 22:57:56 UTC

You need police.

2018-07-21 22:58:09 UTC

Police are inherently more authorative bodies.
