@Fitzydog to be absolutely honest with you, I preferred Bernie to Hillary. Mostly because Bernie though promising too much, was honest and knew the problems that infested Washington. He was anti-establishment and had a good vision on what to do in regards to tuition fees, healthcare and inequality.
Clinton was simply a candidate that knew that couldn't best Bernie in a proper debate and relied on the party to sack him. She was corrupt and had contacts in Wall Street which funded her and who she definitely owed back... She desperately tried to get the young vote from Bernie and to get all sorts of support even twisted her campaign in order to get the vote from minorities and extremist lefties. Her campaign pitted America against itself by putting Trump and all his followers in a basket of "deplorables" and seeing them as inferior and radical.

I used to be a Bernie bro as well, until I realized how retarded universal healthcare and free tuition was.

Honestly, the 'hope' that universal healthcare and free tuition "could work" is why we keep repeating the same mistakes over and over again.

Again, technicaly we have free tuition if you are a failure after you Graduate or drop out (if you don't earn above £21k annually, you don't pay but still get interest)

Most Western European countries have functioning healthcare systems, and proper tuition fees for students

In the case of Sweden and Denmark the state even pays you to go to higher educations

Canada used to have great doctors, prior to socialized medicine. Now that that generation has retired, their quality is dropping significantly and they're traveling to the US for care
