The last analysis of farm attack victims by race was conducted in the early 2000s. In 2001, the police’s Crime Information Analysis Centre revealed that of the 1,398 people attacked on farms, 61.6% were white, 33.3% were black, 4.4% were Asian and 0.7% were listed as “other”.

MDS: Are you still working on your policy to remove funding from universities that don’t protect free speech?
AS: Absolutely, and we’ve had some initial conversations as a team. A short while ago I had a meeting with university administrators to talk about how the framework could be built around that. I think it’s incredibly important and more and more people are telling me that they go through their undergraduate or even graduate studies, that they’re concerned by the trend that’s going on on campus with some speakers being disinvited or campus clubs not being recognized just because of a different perspective on things.
So yes, we want to do it in a way that’s respectful of the dynamics that universities face where they do have some legitimate concerns on how to manage protestors and backlashes but at the same time not allowing those people to have a veto. Because that’s not the right answer either. And also building in some way to evaluate what that framework would look like to see an isolated incident with one person at a university does not equal an entire mindset at that university.

here's something interesting - HG Wells predicted atomic bombs - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_World_Set_Free
@What Would Jack Conte Do? Atomic bombs were a known concept tho no?
not that i know of
not in the 1910s
Not much of a stretch to imagine weapons would become more powerful
hindsight is 20/20 tho
if you have 20/20, you can't imagine your vision being worse
They consist of "lumps of pure Carolinum" that induce "a blazing continual explosion" whose half-life is seventeen days, so that it is "never entirely exhausted," so that "to this day the battle-fields and bomb fields of that frantic time in human history are sprinkled with radiant matter, and so centres of inconvenient rays."
That does not sound like he predicted it
true
but, he predicted the consequence
which was that war became inconvenient
due to nuclear weapons
although there were people at the time that thought war would be inconvenient due to industrialization
or chemical weapons or what have you
ah well
lol
i guess his prediction was well off
like he said that there were 'battlefields' when air power makes it possible to wage war nearly anywhere
and not that MAD is what ensures peace
Heinlein predicted atomic bombs before the Manhattan project was even a thing

Look at this stupid article.
"Why don't Trump supporters get off the Trump train?"
"Because the rest of the country wants to get women equal footing in society. And these people hate it, which also makes them fascist."
last time I did see, people love winning and the Trunp train is currently winning a lot all over the place. and if you ask someone if they want to trade the money and jobs they are getting atm for more taxes and regulations, there is a good change they give you the finger
