getting trump was the biggest blow to big money in politics as he have all the money he ever need from the start
Well, it's not the duty of a corporation to have to look out for others.
It's no one's duty, except their own.
This isn’t an opinion that large corporations negatively impact workers.
So as long as the incetivizing mechanism still exists within politics, it will continue to happen
Really? That’s how you view it...
Get out there and advocate for a new amendment, but don't blame it on faceless corporations and "muh capitalism"
They're just using an advantage that's available to them
And that’s why I support progressives, the party who doesn’t take money from corrupt corporations
lol
Both parties are extremely fucked at this point
@Deleted User I'm sorry I can't let you get away with believing that progressives don't take billions of dollars from George Soros.
Let's be real right now.
They take a shitload of money.
@Thomas the Sowell Train [USA] Bernie Sanders, gabbards, etc.
I'm betting you would think the NRA is somehow different from Bernie Sanders.
@Deleted User But to your point about "Muh pre existing conditions", take this example into account:
Supposed a 400lb diabetic woman in need of a heart transplant applies for insurance. Should the insurance company be forced to provide for her care, even though she's only paid one months worth of payments at $250?
Or, even LET her get insurance?
Whats her yearly income? Is she financially stable? How old is she? All these things come into play
What if they did that for the entireity of the US population?
This is an important point, pre existing conditions are a complex subject.
The amount of money we spend on other useless programs in the US should be cut to getting us universal healthcare
That wouldn't work.
Very simply.
That's YOUR opinion, about MY resources
It has nothing to do with you as an individual
That wouldn't even come close to affording a universal healthcare system in America.
WHAT?!
@Fitzydog if you are in Norway with that condition they will refuse to operate you until you go down in weight. you can get help to go down in weight the long way.
Say that again
It’s a collective issue
It's for the greater good
Say it again
<:pepe_sweat:378719424548569088>
The greater good
How does it have nothing to do with me?
It's MY fucking tax dollars
America is the greatest innovator in medical technology by far. The reason other countries can get away with enormous state healthcare systems is because WE do all the innovation and we also pay for their national defense.
Or at least those are primary reasons.
Uh, taxes wouldn’t increase. Plus, You’re already probably paying so much in taxes that go to the fucking corporations who DONT EVEN PAY TAXES
Okay, let me rephrase the question:
Under what conditions SHOULD someone be denied healthcare coverage?
