I just dont know why.

cuz you are altering gods creation and therefore his will

very nice

2018-11-08 16:40:51 UTC

What would the view on IVF be?

2018-11-08 16:43:17 UTC

That would depend on which group of radicals.

2018-11-08 16:44:01 UTC

Give me a minute. I've an explanation on how we're supposed to act/believe.

2018-11-08 16:49:40 UTC

"The Christian Ethic front

- You believe all living creatures are created by god, and that they look like/ are built as god wanted them to. God is allknowing and cant be wrong whilst the human often does wrong. Humanity should not "play god" and change other creatures heredity.

-You mean that because all humans are worth equal their differences and *uncompletenes* (I cant find a better word) dosent mean that some genes are unwanted. Not even genes that cause terrible disease. So you cant abort some embryos or fetuses because of their genes.

-You think that suffering has sometimes (but not always) a meaning. That meaning being a challange that god is putting you through. "

2018-11-08 16:49:54 UTC

This is how we're supposed to act like in the RP thingy.

2018-11-08 16:49:56 UTC

Pretty gay imo.

2018-11-08 16:50:29 UTC

I'm gonna repost the question

2018-11-08 16:50:37 UTC

"What would a radical christians view of genetic modification be? The modification being that the child will have a very easy time learning stuff and a hard time forgetting stuff."

2018-11-08 16:55:17 UTC

I’d say they would be firmly against genetic modification. And IVF would probably be taboo.

2018-11-08 17:04:24 UTC

Even babies with defects are “Gods will”.
And IFV would probably be looked down on to an extent. because infertility is part of God’s plan but making babies is super important.

2018-11-08 17:05:13 UTC

Hmm yes. I understand.

2018-11-08 17:06:08 UTC

But back to the point of the genetic modification. And the only thing I really need to care about is the memory thingy. What would the usual arguments be like? Is it even possible to make it remotally scientific?

2018-11-08 17:11:13 UTC

I can’t think of a scientific argument from that perspective.

2018-11-08 17:11:47 UTC

Mostly stonewalling with “The bible says”

2018-11-08 17:12:30 UTC

Yeah. And that's not a working argument imo.

2018-11-08 17:47:21 UTC

Reagan's humor was on point
