unhinged monopoly

2018-11-10 10:34:00 UTC

slave labour

2018-11-10 10:34:31 UTC

every company having a PMC to act in their interest

2018-11-10 10:34:56 UTC

as some extremes

2018-11-10 10:35:24 UTC

but how about I tone it back, there could be no small business as the larger companies would crush them, self actualization would be gone

2018-11-10 10:35:48 UTC

there would be an irrevocable hierarchy of dynastic proportions

2018-11-10 10:36:56 UTC

right now yeah, there's slave labour in the prisons, now with the capitalist monopoly we get "prison corp" and they just fuckin abduct people at a worse rate

2018-11-10 10:37:11 UTC

who's going to stop them? "FBI corp"?

2018-11-10 10:37:19 UTC

some sort of state army

2018-11-10 10:37:24 UTC

that not longer exists

2018-11-10 10:37:25 UTC

a militia?

2018-11-10 10:38:08 UTC

can the local militias stand up to the highly funded and armed PMC that comes and cleans out a rural area and puts shock collars on everyone in order to get them to produce cow meat only for them?

2018-11-10 10:38:30 UTC

the mcdonalds group came in today, said we work for them now

2018-11-10 10:38:43 UTC

stole all our guns and burned down a couple houses to make it stick

2018-11-10 10:38:57 UTC

"Unhinged monopoly" Monopolies are impossible in a free market as a competitor is always ready to jump into the market and offer a service better and cheaper, this happens all the time even now. "Slave labour" Slaves, even though cheap, are a remarkably unproductive and not a very viable business plan. Sure there may be some slaves hidden from view, but atm everyone is a slave to the state anyways. And I'm sure that the market would very quickly discard of companies who's practice they disagree with, like slave owners. Wdym by a "PMC"?

2018-11-10 10:39:19 UTC

private military contractors

2018-11-10 10:40:26 UTC

who's going to be the competitor when mcdonalds declares open warfare on all the other competitors and annihilates them since they can pay the most

2018-11-10 10:40:35 UTC

Well then we'd go back to a state, and seeing that this new govt would learn from the mistakes of the old the likelihood is that it would be a better one. By playing the anarchist gambit you would get a state better or equal to the one now

2018-11-10 10:40:39 UTC

then once everyone is gone they lower the wage

2018-11-10 10:41:05 UTC

companies are not trustworthy

2018-11-10 10:41:12 UTC

they will do whatever it takes to get more

2018-11-10 10:41:38 UTC

and without literally anything holding them back

2018-11-10 10:41:40 UTC

they will

2018-11-10 10:41:45 UTC

do anything they want

2018-11-10 10:41:47 UTC

to get more

2018-11-10 10:42:27 UTC

Predatory pricing both in theory and practice is stupid for a company because when your losses become too deep you have to resell at a higher price which puts you into trouble from competitors

2018-11-10 10:42:46 UTC

it's whiped out several companies!

2018-11-10 10:42:54 UTC

once they're gone you don't have to give a shit about that!

2018-11-10 10:43:02 UTC

you rule now

2018-11-10 10:43:45 UTC

So the monolith is selling at a higher price then before at this point in time. As the law of supply and demand states a new competitor will rise up and sweep the market to return it to equilibrium

2018-11-10 10:43:50 UTC

some local mom and pop isn't going to spring up and threaten your bottom line if you can just tell News INC to say they put cyanide in their coffee, and you've got enough money to get the script in front of them

2018-11-10 10:45:41 UTC

And when the allegations go through court and comes back as false the alleger will be put into question, a reduce in sales for them is expected

2018-11-10 10:45:44 UTC

here's an example of the soft drink industry getting pissed off at another company hurting them so they tell everyone that one of the harmless ingredients is also used in roach pesticide

2018-11-10 10:45:56 UTC

what court

2018-11-10 10:45:59 UTC

court incorporated?

2018-11-10 10:46:11 UTC

mcbonnos owns them

2018-11-10 10:46:32 UTC

The private arbitration service that keeps return custom for being seen to be impartial

2018-11-10 10:46:33 UTC
