2018-12-19 13:52:00 UTC

Are they at least going to bet Macron out of office?

2018-12-19 13:52:04 UTC

Get

2018-12-19 13:52:54 UTC

probably not - they got Belgian president to leave, but Macron feels the EU has his back because he's a globalist.

2018-12-19 13:53:36 UTC

Sucks

2018-12-19 13:53:47 UTC

Globalist

2018-12-19 13:53:49 UTC

2018-12-19 17:18:15 UTC

US is only country with freedom of speech

2018-12-19 17:18:23 UTC

that must suck, change my mind

2018-12-19 17:18:57 UTC

only country with freedom of speech as mandated by one of the founding documents*

2018-12-19 17:19:20 UTC

a few other countries have it, but it's not got a wall between it and the government

2018-12-19 17:19:32 UTC

and that's probably why they're workign hardest in the states to erode it

2018-12-19 17:21:30 UTC

what other countries have it and what wall?

2018-12-19 17:21:41 UTC

the wall being the constitution

2018-12-19 17:21:45 UTC

keeping it safe

2018-12-19 17:22:00 UTC

but like any wall it can be attacked

2018-12-19 17:22:04 UTC

Well tbh many others dont know what it means. Even the interview with the lord by sargon, he tried to say the uk had it via a law about freedom to discuss religion. Ignoring the other aspects.

2018-12-19 17:53:20 UTC

@Broo TulsiGang 2024 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 Not really, the EU wasn't begging the UK to remain, and there wasn't any sort of widespread and outspoken anti brexit sentiment in Europe outside of the UK. All EU member states accepted the results of the referendum and wanted the UK to leave as soon as possible. The EU wanting to make a deal was because they had to talk about the hundreds of treaties and laws that the UK had signed and agreed to follow that were going to be terminated.

2018-12-19 17:57:44 UTC

the leader of EU own words after the brexit results did come in "Juncker ORDERS Europe: Don’t hold any more referendums as voters will choose to LEAVE"
https://www.express.co.uk/news/world/737493/Jean-Claude-Juncker-EU-referendum-voters-choose-Leave-eurosceptism

2018-12-19 18:00:27 UTC

so if anyone else want to hold a election if they want to leave the EU, the EU forbids it now. that is how democratic and nice the EU is for it subjects

2018-12-19 18:01:59 UTC

*“Regarding referenda on EU membership, I think it is not wise to organise this kind of debate, not only because I might be concerned about the final result but because this will pile more controversy onto the huge number already present at the heart of the EU. "*
Doesn't seem like he was begging

2018-12-19 18:02:54 UTC

And he didn't forbid anything...

but he knowwwwwwwwsssssssssssss <:mad_lad:464461880786944000>
