Corporate democrats vs progressive democrat uncivil war
After 2020, they'll probably abolish elections as "inefficient"
if trump wins I expect another great meltdown
I have heard a theory that they want Trump to win again, because they've been able to advance their Marxist agenda quicker as opposition than if they had been getting resistance as the government trying to impose it.
Shitlibs voluntarily embracing it as a sign of solidarity against Trump and his "fascists"
well thats just people being retarded
depending how bad things get in the US, i can actually see myself embracing a right wing fascist
if we are gonna live in a fascist state, i would rather it be a fascist state that holds my same views
but obviously that isn't ideal
I'd rather be dead tbh
fuck being a fascist

yea
We are the world's top oil exporter. We have our own oil. We can't just conquer Venezuela and take their oil, idiots.
Yeah
@EnderOctanus Tsk tsk
More reason to do so
It's like you're willfully ignoring cartel economics
Cartel economics? I wanna see Venezuela's real president setting up ExxonMobile and Shell refineries.
*Technically speaking* if the US got control of Venezuelan oil reserves and privatized it under US based firms, we could boost the strength of the dollar considerably
a new president in Venezuela can turn down new loans from china, getting them out of the debt trap china loves to do to idiots
But it isn't our oil just because we get paid to extract and refine it. Our co panies get that money.
Venezuela could then sell it to fucking Russia if they wanted
Not exactly
The Petro dollar is more than just a meme
I know
It is a strategic resource. But the ones that benefit most are going to be US companies, and Venezuela. We can tax the companies, yeah. But no guarantees we get that oil.
Even though internationally, us companies may not bbe buying and selling oil to foreign nations, it's still being traded in USD equivalent
Russia can buy oil from SA, but it's bought in USD terms
That isnt their arguement though
It's part of it
They see it as us literally taking the oil and victimizing Venezuela
Oh, yeah, idk. I mtalking about the pragmatic economics, not their feelings
You underestimate the stupidity of some folks. They actually think we can make the oil disappear.
