As far as I can tell, EU believe we will not leave if they don't blink because Theresa May has no backbone... If they extend Article 50, then they will be proved right - it's all about clusterfucking so we never leave at all.
Don't get me wrong, the Brexiter politicians cannot be trusted either, as they see leaving as a way to get filthy rich... but we at least have the chance to do something about it outside of EU than if we're still balls-deep in federalisation central.
