So far, they're on track for the best
japan have so little crime you don't need to lock you bike
so then there isn't a universal morality, just different ones interpreted differently by each culture
Are you just ignoring what I'm saying?
And they are right. They have achieved it. Why do you think they have low crimes and are super against illegal immigration?
You would love to live under Japan's society
You're saying that there is the one objective universal superior morality which we all aspire to reach
Yes
Yes ofc
Which I disagree with
Freedom and fairness for all
Wouldn't you love to live in Japan?
I don't have much to say on living in Japan
Oh come on
they don't want the soy
Safety, societal trust, equality
shit like this is why japan is refusing taking in refugees

Japan isn't a county of equality, it's a country that offers all equal starting positions, whether you reach them isn't up to the state rather up to yourself. Japan is also a country notorious for having different cultural norms to those of the west, where we favour more family they favour more work and social standing.
Yeah, that's equality
the term equality which people, often on the far left, tend to fling around revolves more on equality of outcome, not of start
No, that's equity
Which is immoral
Equality is also largely present in western culture, however not to the level of which Japan is at
It should be more present lol
That's not even the topic of discussion
Hell, even the basis behind progressive politics implies theres a universal ethic, else what else would you be aspiring towards?
Closing the gaps between private and public schooling
we have almost perfect equality between genders in Norway and we did see something funny happen. both sexes did choose jobs that was extremely gender stereotypes like females becoming nurses and men mechanics
How unexpected
Wow nature does the work itself...
Wth does private schooling have to do with this?
equality
Same starting chances for people
Are you saying there wasn't 50/50 representation on all professions?
You cannot possibly say that someone who attends a public school and a private one are at the same playing field
That's not equality, that's centralized authority impsoing equity
Must have been internalised misogyny
you will never get that. as even your teacher can make a huge difference on the outcome
