No they don't, they have the right to live assuming my bullet misses.
i get where that idea comes from, but it breaks down very quickly
you can't just move into someones area and start benefiting off of what they built
If you are in a dire situation and ask for my help, I am the sort to do what I feasibly can.
most people are like that
maybe not leftists lol
But I am also not going to pretend to trust you. Bad people can need help too.
The entire kernal of their philosophy is centered on grouping people by characteristics
If someone knocks on my door begging for water... I'll tell them to sit in the shade, and I will bring them all the water they want, even do my best to make sure they aren't dying of heat stroke.
Society should be dealt with on the macro scale of social groups
But they don't get to come inside automatically.
Same with pets. I see someone's pet is loose, I do my best to return it to them. And frequently have to do so.
I don't mind helping someone elses' property out if it wasn't necessarily their fault, you know?
I lend tools when hurricanes come through so people can cut the trees and branches and move them, and repair structures etc. ButI expect it to be returned, and it always is.
I feel like this is why europeans also stick with a parliamentary system.
It assumes that there are multiple special interest groups that have a right to be heard by their own party, instead of treating the entire nation or geographic area as a single group
Well they do have that issue, but I dunno if it stems from the style of government or vice versa
No no, I'm saying they both stem from the same mindset
Viewing society as an intersection of groups
I think their societies developed to adapt to the government, self-fulfilling expected issues.
Hm
Not exactly
Almost inverted
You have separated groups of power.
Which is a good thing I think
Right, but they're based on geographic area
Imagine if the Va shit was on the national level
These are based on social groups, like Liberals, Conservatives, Greens, Socialists, etc
Almost like syndicalism
Same philosophical kernal
I just like it when people stop actively trying to rip apart the most successful system we've actually gotten to work and not immediately collapse, in human history.
Just because they *think* they can do it even better.
Thats why I like confederacies. It takes what we've done to the next level.
The opposite of what Europe does
those maps of how people vote by race have even very eye opening
i hate to say it, but it shows me that minorities are leeches
@AlanPowell very good meme
I don't know. As much as you can, validly, complain about the centralized function of the Fed, it also has saved our asses on major shit before.
@AlanPowell what about da chinks and the its?
Alan you're walking on a slippery slope man.
idk, maybe.
I feel like we need MANY more people in our legislative bodies.
It should be near impossible to come to an agreement on most things, unless it really is that important
But we have demonstrated that even when they think the world is ending, they still cannot agree.
