Tim pull is odd. He promotes leftists, denounces rightists. But when leftists go wrong he is suddenly a fence sitter.

2019-02-08 20:48:52 UTC

I've noticed that.

2019-02-08 20:50:07 UTC

he wants to believe in the old idea that he still remember of the left, but that left was just illusions and lies

2019-02-08 20:51:07 UTC

he's a left-centrist

Not sure what Democrat party he is chasing

2019-02-08 20:51:20 UTC

don't be a mean person

2019-02-08 20:51:29 UTC

Tim doesn't know where he is

2019-02-08 20:51:32 UTC

Is it mean though?

2019-02-08 20:51:35 UTC

he wants to be a progressive

2019-02-08 20:51:50 UTC

but he sees all the logic flaws and tries to be reasonabled

he's too BIG BRAIN to be a Progressive

2019-02-08 20:52:00 UTC

he is nothing more than a sane leftist

2019-02-08 20:52:21 UTC

I get it. We all want to hold on to something we thought was good in our past. When it turns out it was shit it kinda leaves you in a spot.

2019-02-08 20:52:23 UTC

of course ... the left today is gone

2019-02-08 20:52:35 UTC

so he keeps on being borderline Trumpist

2019-02-08 20:52:41 UTC

not his fault

2019-02-08 20:53:48 UTC

I think that Dawkings is the greatest guy to break divide

2019-02-08 20:54:00 UTC

Tim is consumed by leftist ideology

2019-02-08 20:54:15 UTC

he stumbled into the reality against his will

2019-02-08 20:54:36 UTC

he is still being a great guy .. while fighting against reality

2019-02-08 20:54:58 UTC

I think he's experiencing cognitive dissonance in a way that will probably bring him further right/libertarian. What I mean by that is that I think he has an idea about how government *should* work for the people and how it could really work to make things better etc and thinking "why can't it be this way?". Then that ideal gets juxtaposed with the reality of the insurmountable level of corruption in government and that all centralization creates a "honey pot" of power that attracts the worst people in society.

2019-02-08 20:57:32 UTC

Tim is already really good

2019-02-08 20:57:53 UTC

I think his heart is in the right place but hasn't had his eyes opened, yet, to just how inexorably corrupt government makes people

2019-02-08 20:57:59 UTC

as long as he keeps his standards ... he is really good

2019-02-08 20:58:07 UTC

he needs just to make up his mind on what he wants to believe in

2019-02-08 20:58:07 UTC

yeah, as a journalist goes he's great

2019-02-08 20:58:13 UTC

I met him when he was still a progressive

2019-02-08 20:58:21 UTC

so I followed up his development

2019-02-08 20:58:38 UTC

that's exactly why I am trying to get in touch with him somehow

2019-02-08 20:59:10 UTC

he should just try to make Joe aware about how to have standards

2019-02-08 20:59:29 UTC

if Joe gets some balls and decides to challenge the big guys

2019-02-08 20:59:33 UTC

I think Joe was afraid of Jack Dorsey

2019-02-08 20:59:36 UTC

he could be pretty awesome

2019-02-08 20:59:37 UTC

I would be

2019-02-08 20:59:42 UTC

if I were in his position

2019-02-08 20:59:50 UTC

Joe was not afraid of Jack

2019-02-08 21:00:03 UTC

Joe is just Jack's bitch

2019-02-08 21:00:09 UTC

he looks up to Jack

2019-02-08 21:00:19 UTC

if he had standards
