Patreon seems likes a ground up kinda thing

getting funding from your fans is nothing new. all patreon did do was making it a little easy for a hefty fee. But at time did pass on they did go around and did borrow insane amount of money for some reason and now the people that did borrow them the money is waning it back. but as they did at the same time go woke and is kicking the wrong thinkers off it site the money coming in is drying up. and after the last week with people not getting any money and patron says, you can have some money in advance it will just cost you 20% of your donation instead of the "normal" 10%

it like your bank refusing to pay you your pay check on time because of "problems" but if you just pay them a extra fee they will fix it for you or you can just wait until we get to it. it may take a week or two extra. it a sure sign that they have no more money left to keep the operation going and if you did have a patron I had recommended you look for a new solution

I don't think their fee is hefty , I think it's fair

they take 5% and the real payment processor take 5%.

but as they are owing a 100 million USD to investors they are looking for ways to make sure they can get a even bigger cut from the creators

and from some reports they are looking at making new creators on patron sign contracts that will make patron the owner of the creators things that he funds via patron, something that will kill them in a instant if they do
